Team Policies
Over the last few years Ruislip Rangers F.C has grown at such a rate it is starting to become unmanageable with the resources we have available.
This is a VOLUNTARY club and the committee make decisions for the benefit of all the club members. Managers, parents and players should adhere to our policies, in the best interests and smooth running of the club. The number of teams and players per team has been agreed so that all boys/girls registered with the club have the best opportunity to develop in training and by playing matches.
SOCCER SEVENS
- From the 2007/2008 season there will be a maximum of three teams per age group except where four teams already exist.
- The maximum number of registered players per team is 12 except where more already exist.
- If a team has more than 12 players registered then a player leaving will not be able to be replaced.
11 A SIDE
- From 2007/2008 there will be a maximum of two 11 a side teams per age group
- The number of registered players per team is 20 as per league rules.
GIRLS
- From the 2007/2008 season there will be a maximum of one team per age group.
MANAGERS AND COACHES
- All managers and coaches have to be CRB checked.
- All managers should have completed or at the very least be booked on a Level 1 coaching course.
- Any manager wanting a player from another team must approach the player’s manager before approaching the boy/girl and their parents.
- All managers are expected to meet any such request in a positive manner to aid in the development of the individual player.
- As a club we encourage player movement between teams if such a move is considered to be beneficial to that player’s development.
- On registering, players will be advised that they sign for Ruislip Rangers FC and not an individual manager or team.
- Whilst any views will be considered the foot-balling progression of the player and the interests of Ruislip Rangers F.C. will be paramount. Ultimately, the final decision will be made by the Management Committee.
- Managers should meet throughout the course of the year to review players across the age group.
- The Club Committee will appoint managers on an annual basis as required by the Charter Mark standard.
The Management Committee have the power to amend or review such policies, in circumstances brought to their attention.
