about the club

Ruislip Rangers Football Club was formed in 1969 making us one of the oldest youth football clubs in Middlesex.

We are Youth Football Partners of Wealdstone Football Club and Harrow Borough Football Club, jointly working together to promote youth football in the area.  Our older players are in a prime position to progress their football careers by playing for Harrow in the Ryman Premier League.

Last season we won the Harrow League Sportsmanship Award.

In the 2010/12 season we have a record number of 32 teams playing in our colours, including seven girls teams.

We had over 450 registered players whose ages ranged from 5 to 18.

Our girl's section has expanded yet again, and we now have  U16 and U15 11 a side teams, an U14 and U13  9 a side teams and also U12 and U11s 7 a side teams. We also have a group of younger girls playing in our U10 development teams.

Supporting the players are 20 qualified coaches most of whom, together with additional adult assistants have completed the Football Association Emergency Aid and Child Protection Courses within the last 2 years. In addition the club have a designated Child Protection Officer.

The boys compete in the Harrow Youth Football League, which is undoubtedly amongst the very best of its kind in the country. We also take part in the County Championships and many summer tournaments.

Our teams regularly attract the attention of professional clubs, resulting in a steady stream of our players getting the opportunity of a trial period and indeed going on to play with the professionals.

In addition to football matches and training the club have other activities among them prize presentation evenings, discos and quiz nights.

For youngsters just starting the most important qualities required are enthusiasm and reliability.
